Crawford Sensei has been training in Aikido for over 25 years.
Her training began at the University of Wisconsin Aikido Club in Madison, Wisconsin. In 1985 Crawford Sensei was awarded her first degree black-belt by Shihan Akira Tohei.
In 1987 Crawford Sensei relocated to the Seattle area where she became the Assistant Chief Instructor at Aikido Eastside in Bellevue, Washington. During this time Crawford Sensei earned the ranks of 2nd and 3rd degree black-belts from Shihan Mitsugi Saotome.
In 1995 she opened Aikido Northshore in Kirkland, Washington.
Crawford Sensei received her 5th degree black-belt in 2005 from Shihan Mitsugi Saotome.
